On the day students returned to school after the National Day holiday, in order to effectively strengthen campus safety defenses, eliminate potential safety hazards in dormitories, and ensure a safe and orderly living environment for students, on October 8th, the Senior High School Department of Anqing Foreign Language School organized a special large-scale inspection of prohibited items in student dormitories, following the principle of "early deployment, strict screening, and emphasis on education," bringing safety management down to every dormitory room and every cabinet.
First and foremost, this inspection was planned in advance and meticulously arranged. The dormitory inspection schedule was issued to the Senior High School Department work group before the holiday. All teachers, according to the division of labor, claimed their assigned dormitories one by one, ensuring responsibility to each person and tasks to each post. At 12:25 noon, all inspection personnel of the Senior High School Department gathered on time at the school lecture hall and held a brief and efficient work arrangement meeting. What's more, at the meeting, the inspection scope, key areas and specific work requirements were clarified, emphasizing the significance of dormitory safety management for students' physical and mental health and campus stability. In the meantime, the inspection process was standardized and inspection discipline was strictly enforced, ensuring that the inspection work was both vigorous and measured.
Additionally, after the meeting, the teachers split into groups and entered the student dormitories, conducting a meticulous inspection of areas such as lockers, storage cabinets, and bed surroundings one by one, carefully checking the storage of items in the dormitories, with a focus on screening for various prohibited items. Also, during the inspection, the teachers meticulously examined the contents of the cabinets, leaving no corner unchecked, while simultaneously carrying out dormitory safety education, guiding students to establish safety awareness, consciously abide by dormitory management regulations, and achieve "inspect one place, educate one place, secure one place."
In a nutshell, this special inspection of prohibited items in the dormitories has further strengthened the foundation of dormitory safety management, which promptly identified and eliminated potential risks, creating a safe, orderly and civilized living environment for the students. More remarkably, the Senior High School Department of our school will continue to implement regular dormitory safety inspections with solid measures to ensure the safety of every student at Anqing Foreign Language School.
